REAL_SUB_E is an object which represents supplier specific record in SAP EHS. It is used to store supplier specific composition, regulatory information and supplier's documentation (SDS, Technical Data Sheets, regulatory statements etc.)


REAL_SUB_E information is used for:

  • Raw Material Sinequa (to send supplier SDSs)

  • Raw Material Cockpit (for automatic supplier SDS update requests)

  • REACH & S-SVHC information tracking

  • Consistency report (to check MM - EHS data alignment) & keep raw material sourcing information up to date

  • central place for supplier regulatory information storage

  • data analysis & extractions as well as regulatory campaigns for suppliers

PRCO* , P000* , 5000*

PROD_COM represents worst case information for a set of suppliers that provide Syensqo with raw materials of similar chemistry

PROD_COM information is used for:

  • building Syensqo finished product compositions (via composition calculation rules)

  • impurity tracking from raw materials (for products by chemical reaction)

  • for maintenance of Syensqo finished product notification & other regulatory statuses

  • information re-used for site IH assessments via Socrates

  • tonnage calculations








SAP MM - SAP EHS


Link between SAP EHS and SAP MM (Material Management) modules exists and is maintained for production raw materials purchased using WP1 material numbers (under 0451 material group).

This allows to keep production raw material records up to date according to logistic information for active supplier sources as well as to ensure we can maintain good obsolescence process for data in SAP EHS.

Such raw material records are maintained using PRCO* type of raw material PROD_COMs with the logistic integration behind.

PRCO* type of raw material PROD_COM is automatically generated in SAP EHS for every new raw material ZPRC created in MM module that is used for logistic.

ZPRC records in SAP MM are used to combine similar chemistry ZMATs (material codes). When Purchasing Info Record (PIR) or Contract is created then supplier code is introduced for the ZMAT. This allows Raw Material team to follow logistic part of SAP and maintain supplier specific records REAL_SUB_Es accordingly - with ZMAT (material) numbers and supplier codes stored for reference within REAL_SUB_E property tree's Raw Mat Data Attributes class.
