1/ Definition

This Metric is composed by 3 figures: each week, the snapshot calculates 3 figures around the Maintenance Plans managed in SAP

  • % Respect of Maintenance Plan completed the Last week

  • Number of Maintenance Plan to be completed during the Current week

  • Rate of Delay on Maintenance Plans (1-30 days, 31 to 90 days, > 90days)

2/ Objective / Target

To be defined by site

Example of a good target (Benchmark SolMaX): 80%

3/ Formula

  • % Respect of Maintenance Plans for the last week

Work Orders issued from a Preventive Maintenance Plan Completed* in Time / Works issued from a Preventive Maintenance Plan Planned* for the last week

  • Number of Maintenance Plans for the current week

Call, Notifications or Work Orders issued from a Maintenance Plan with the Planned Date in the current week.

  • Rate of Delay of Maintenance Plans

∑ Maint. Plans with Due Date (Planned Date or Required end date) < Snapshot extraction date*

The Delay is spread over 4 categories :

    • On time

    • Delay <30 days

    • 31 days < Delay <90 days

    • Delay > 90 days

Further Explanations

  • a Work is completed when one of the different Closing status on the Work Order (GS45, GS50, GS55, 6CMP, CNF, TECO) is feeded with a date. Then the rule takes the earliest date found on the status, and compare with the Required end date of the Notification or with the Planned Date of the Maintenance Plan if there is no Notification, to determines if OK or KO for the % Respect.

  • a Planned Work is a Call, a Notification, or a Work Order coming from a Maintenance Plan., for a given Planned Date. This Planned Date is generated by the Maintenance Plan depending its own parametrization in SAP

4/ Frequency

Weekly

5/ SAP extraction and Detailed calculation

For every Work issued from a Maintenance Plan completed the last week, the system compares the earliest date found on a Closing status* on the Work Order (GS45 or GS50 or GS55 or 6CMP or CNF or Reference date of the TECO), against the Required End date of the Notification OR  against the Planned Date of the Call if there is no Notification.

*NB: This rule is the same used in the 2.12 Respect of Notification date, for Work order NOT issued from a Maintenance Plan

6/ Examples in QV and BW

  • % Respect of Maintenance Plans for the last week and &  Number of Maintenance Plans for the current week

in Qlikview

in BW Analytical Reporting

The BW Analytical report can be displayed from an aggregated level to a very detailed level, by Work orders. For example, you can extract the list of Maintenance plans with the detailed Work Orders and/or Notifications that were completed or not during the selected week (Column "Planned Activity Executed" = "1" if Executed or blank if NOT executed)

Case 1 : Maintenance Plan is executed the week it was planned

example with a Due Date of the Maintenance Plan = Required End Date of the notification

Case 2 : Maintenance Plan is NOT executed the week it was planned

example with a Due Date of the Maintenance Plan = Planned Date (as the Required End Date of the notification is blank)
