Overview

This section describes the "Format" used for each module where contributor is asked to prepare their images according to the sizes given.

Authorized image formats in Keepeek: jpg, png, gif (including animated gif), svg

Authorized video formats in Keepeek: mp4, avi

Size: 500 Mo maximum

BE CAREFUL, you can add GIF pictures inside Solvay ONE. However, we do not recommend you to use them as it is impacting the performance of our website.

In case you really need to insert a GIF, please check its size and optimize it thanks to a tool like : https://ezgif.com/resize.

Space banner image

  • The banner is responsive and it depends of the width of the screens (up to 1920px PC screen resolution)
  • Therefore it is recommended to provide the orignial image up to 1600px so that bigger screens will still see a banner that are not degraded
  • Meanwhile, on smaller screens, width of banner image will be adapted but the height will be fixed at 180px or 380px depending on page types
  • Note the recommended zone for the image details

Rich text image/video

  • When contributor inserts an image in the rich text, a preview mode of the image/video is being called upon (corresponds to xlarge in Keepeek)
  • Contributor is free to set width and height of it's image/video
  • When Finish editing (publishing), image/video generated is based on whr in Keepeek, with the format (width and height) defined by contributor
