The business from Composite Material (CM) is willing to use the Pricing Process that we have been implemted on Salesforce ICare for Specialty Polymer (SPP) BU. 

CM is currently using Salesforce Icare but there is no visibility Restrictions with SPP. 

With the pricing process beeing used by CM, it is requested to split the visibility on CM and SPP records. 


Functional High Level Design

As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline data visibility and access control across different business units, this objective on the implementation and integration of a standardized GBU (Global Business Unit) picklist.


The goal is to ensure consistent application of GBU values, enhance data integrity, and facilitate efficient data access management across various objects and processes in the CRM system.

New GBU Global value set

The Following Value set will be used across all GBU Field of all impacted objects.


The while visibility model will be based on strictly CM or SPP or CM&SPP as showed on the scrennshot.





GBU Picklist to current process SPP

The following process are impacted by the CM/SPP split and need to have a dedicated GBU Field.


If there were GBU Field already existing we should now used the new one. 


All these process MUST NOT be accessible by CM team.
