Data Object Definition

Organization data shows the allocation of sales to activity groups and GBUs, for purpose of analytics and reporting.

There 3 levels in the hierarchy: activities are grouped into a group of activity, which belongs to a GBU.

This data is available in the Data Ocean as of Q2 2023.


Data Model

Organization data in the Data Lake is composed of 3 different table views:

  1. DIM_activity1

  2. DIM_group_of_activity

  3. DIM_gbu

Additional Info & Comments


  • The GBU table also contains historical GBUs which are no longer a part of Solvay, for example Vinyls.

  • Extract Type(Snapshot/Delta): Full data will be extracted from source (SAP-BW) on a daily basis
  • Schedule: Jobs will be scheduled to run everyday at 6:30PM CET
