NOTIFICATION STATUS

  • There is a set of rules that can help you determine the inventory status of a product:
    • ZEXP_NOTS       EHS-Expert: Notstat - Stand.compo/ WORLD
    • ZEXP_NOTE       EHS-Expert: Notstat-Exact compo RM/WORLD
    • The difference between the 2 is that the first reads only the standard composition, and therefore CAS listings, while the second reads the Exact Composition based on products and therefore a mix of CAS listings and Products listings (if Products listings have been manually maintained by the Product Steward based on the Supplier SDS)
    • The rules output a result for the following countries:
      • TSCA (North America)
      • DSL-NDSL (Canada)
      • AICS (Australia)
      • ENCS (Japan)
      • KECI (Korea)
      • IECSC (China)
      • PICCS (Philippines)
      • However other inventories can be maintained manually, such as REACH, Mexico, New Zealand and Taiwan
    • More information about the rules can be found in the dedicated training item
  • Many phrases are available in Additional information to provide more details about an inventory listing
  • If you want to indicate an alternative CAS# for a particular inventory, you have to maintain the correct Remarks in a separate instance with no Notification basis nor Regulatory list and add the PURE_SUB in the Composition tab of the newly created instance (see example in the Notstat training item)
  • More characteristics are mapped on the template:
