One way to anticipate core shift issues is of course using Moldflow since we need to count on the pressure differential between both sides of the insert while filling the mold. Thanks to our metal overmolding molds, we conducted a study to quantify the reliability of the predictions and the reasons of potential discrepancies. it resulted in a presentation made at the Digimat usergroup (June, 2023).
