MULLER, Guillaume Find Accenture workshop/assessment
Global Feedback
Too much freedom regarding the technical solution
Lack to monitor Accenture
Battery Feedback
Since November 2021
Good
Bad
Failed to accelerate with Accenture
- Accenture, not expert in their domain (Junior and learning at the same time on ELN)
- Business was not dedicated to take enough requirements
- 4 months: tight deadlines
- In the end: No delivery, bad quality
Coatings Feedback
Good
- Good basis for Tableau and ELN (only about the visible part)
- Needs gathering and understanding
- Harmonization of some practices about EP → Development of a Global GSheets
- Reactive people developers because full time on the project: we saw the developments day by day
- 40%, 20%
Bad
- Not ready on R&I side: didn't know what was possible or exactly what we wanted.
- Non expert developers and several developers for the same tool → everyone did something different and they were no consistence between all the ELN templates within Coatings domain
- Development not done the best way → not good development practice, poor data model with aberrant keys, a lot of actions and custom tables in Tableau,... (impossible to build on top, tried and created bugs)
- Almost no documentation provided
- No communication with the other domains (Batteries & Materials) → No harmonization
- Always tried to negotiate about our needs, what we want, etc.
- Had a contract to follow: useless and non valuable things were done (US device connection) instead of valuable things.
- Too much noise: always involved everyone from Solvay in all the e-mails/meetings → people didn't know when it was important to read/come, so at the end not a lot of implication + it led to less productive meetings.
- Bad user adoption/training: planed to train people, etc. but didn't do it.
- Beta-testing: Asked to complete Excel files with no value (only format, colors... that they could have checked on their own) just to have a validation, but didn't take into account important feedbacks.
- Everything was always urgent "for yesterday", so we weren't able to identify real urgent things from the others.
- Not usable tools at the end.
