> This view is Optional, the "BFC Market for P&I" is only for Navigational purposes on P&I tool in the following Workspace "3. Decision tree outputs".
> BFC Market (Activity1) is originally a notion that is available only for SKU type Shipto (Material @ Shipto), at it's a Master data that is dependent on the Material x Customer (Shipto) x Market.
To facilitate navigation in P&I tool, we had implemented a calculation that is able to calculate the "BFC Market" also for level 1 of network (SKU @ Solvay Site that ship directly to end customers), by doing a transposition of original data (at Material x Shipto). Note: This "BFC Market for P&I" will not be considered in DiP module or other tools like BW or QV.
=> if a Material x Solvay site has served historically an End customer (Shipto), we will be able to retrieve its 'BFC Market'. Note: user can override DynaSys's calculated proposition
=> for those Material x Solvay site without BFC Market, there is still the possibility to manually input (override) the BFC Market.
How is it calculated?
For the SKU shipping which deliver directly to end customers, we take the “BFC Market” of the SKU Shipto.
- In most cases 1 SKU Shipping will have only 1 Shipto and thus will inherit its BFC Market, Or it will have many shiptos but all with the same BFC Market => the SKU type shipping will inherit their BFC Market.
2. For rather exceptional cases, it could have Shiptos with different BFC Markets, we will take the the one with the highest historical shipped volume.
In the case below, the SKU shipping 32859@7851, has historically been shipped to both DE KEUZ and NEW DOCK, but the highest (max) quantity was to DE LEUZ => we take the BFC Market of DE LEUZ (CSOIG = INDUSTRIAL FORMULATIONS)
BFC Market tab:
This tab will show the list of SKU for a given site, where "BFC Market P&I" will be the value calculated (as indicated before) by the user, which can also override it (in "BFC Market P&I override")
