Production costs 



The transaction ZWPP_MCKOST can be used in SAP to report production costs and quantities with real time data. The response time of the report is not so good and usually it can only be used on a restricted scope (ex: plant / month). 

The result of this report is sent once a day to BW, in the application IMEP - Integrated Manufacturing & Energy Performance where it is possible to set-up more user friendly reports on a larger scope (by GBU, year etc.). The report in BW is enhanced with additional information that are not available in the ZWPP_MCKOST. 

There are a lot of reports available, the most useful are identified by the symbol (thumbs up)

The report can be used to:

  • Show target and actual quantities/costs with variances,
  • Have the costs broken down into variable/fixed costs and depreciation,
  • Calculate the QUS (Standard Unit Quantity) / QUR (Actual Unit Quantity) / CUS (Standard Unit Cost) / CUR (Actual Unit Cost)

Dates must be full month (eg 01 to 30)

It is not possible to run for periods above one month.

Plant is always mandatory in the prompt
