David PEIG Digital Champion Soda Ash & Derivatives | The SF iReadiness Program is giving the opportunity to our GBU’s sites to equip them with the IT infrastructure needed for our ambitious Digital Roadmap in the context of the Star Factory Program (vision 2030) and being in line with our strategic business objectives linked with competitiveness. It is very important also for the sites to address all the pain points related not only with infra IT but also with the DT support and applications, which represents today a real roadblock in our Digital Transformation journey → they must be addressed by this Program as well if we want to succeed. The short timeline to perform some actions like the Wifi, fiber optic and cabling surveys is a real challenge for the majority of the sites, but it is a very important exercise to perform and to consider later on to adapt the IT modernization roadmap for the following years → very important to keep the support of the SF iReadiness PM after the budget approval (not only for the implementation but also for the re-adjustment of the roadmap once the new figures for the survey are available). The Program is creating a lot of motivation and engagement at site level, let’s ensure that we can support the sites to reach their expectations. |
