1. Purpose of the file:
This file is used to collect and centralise the mapping between raw materials and their corresponding Ecoinvent activity references (Activity_UUID / Product_UUID) used in Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculations for Syensqo.
For each combination of production year, site, and raw material, it records the linked Ecoinvent dataset, an optional SimaPro proxy, adjustment coefficients, transport PCF, and Data Quality Rating (DQR) sub-scores (technology, time, geography).
The data supports consistent environmental reporting and traceability of emission factor assignments across all Syensqo sites.

3. Filling instructions

| Sheet1_TFS | • Complete all mandatory fields for every row. Rows with missing mandatory values will be rejected during upload. • Material_Code must follow the format <prefix>/<numeric suffix> (e.g. PF2_020/106928). Lines without numeric characters after the "/" will be treated as an error. • At least one of Activity_UUID_Product_UUID or SP_Proxy must be filled for a row to be imported. If both are empty, the row is silently skipped (no error is raised). • Activity_UUID_Product_UUID must be the concatenation of the Ecoinvent Activity UUID and Product UUID separated by "_". • pcf_transport must be ≥ 0 if provided. • dqr_technology, dqr_time, and dqr_geography must each be a float between 1 and 5 if provided. • Adj_coef should be a float, typically between 0 and 1, reflecting the material concentration factor. • Do not modify, add, or remove columns. • Do not leave mandatory fields blank. • Duplicate rows will be rejected during data upload. Ensure no duplicate entries are present in the sheet. |
4. Maintenance best practices
Please comply with the following instructions to maintain the file:
• Always keep the original structure (do not add/remove columns without approval).
• Update only the necessary fields.
• Save a backup copy before any major changes.
• Respect data confidentiality.
