Functional Overview
SAP acknowledges that in some cases inconsistency involving QI stock occur and needs to be fixed in this SAP Note:

Symptom
The inspection stock displayed in transaction MMBE differs from the inspection stock displayed in transaction MD04 ('QM inspection lot' MRP element).
Reason and Prerequisites
Reason: This is probably due to a stock inconsistency between QM and IM and/or an inconsistency in the inspection lots.
Solution
Report ZQEVAC20 from SAP Note 48815 will be encapsulated into a custom Z-transaction/tile for regular use in correcting stock inconsistencies.
Compare the display again in MMBE and MD04.
