Non-analytics custom development request Jiras can be passed for approval by the design authority as soon as the technical review is complete. The process for analytics request Jira's is slightly different. These will be put into status 'Parked' following technical review.
The purpose of parking the Jiras is to ensure that we capture all duplicate reporting requirements and to harmonize definitions. The analytics request Jiras for any given area will remain in status 'Parked' until all requirements for the area have been raised and been through technical review. This process will also endeavour to identify duplicates across areas e.g. S2P vs R2R. Once the overall requirement is understood, then all analytics request Jiras will go to the design authority for approval together. N.B. This approach means that the technical review needs to be thorough so that all metric / KPI definitions are surfaced.
If we are confident that we have all requirements for an area and that there is no danger of duplication, then it is possible to move the request Jiras through to 'Ready for DA Review', however, this is for exceptional cases only.
