We have developed a structured methodology for IT integration that aligns with our Enterprise Architecture (EA) principles:
- First, we define the strategic context by understanding our business objectives and translating high-level IT principles like scalability and flexibility into Integration architecture guidelines, it contains a set of integration requirements, and strategic rules to align IT systems integration with business goals
- These guidelines are operationalized through an IT Integration Design framework composed of two parts:
- Architecture's Qualities represent foundational principles and best practices that guide the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient integration solutions.
- Practical methodology to implement IT integration flows following a common Design and Build Process:
To support the Build and the Run of IT integrations we design and run an Integration Platform
Usage of the IT integration Design Framework is described in Governance and Build processes
