GSite Restricted page access

When there is need to provide restricted access to a particular page in GSite, please find below the steps.

Open the Giste in the browser and click on More actions -->Sharing & permissions

Step 1: Under sharing and permission we have option to manage the page level permission, which has to be in ON state.

Click on Enable Page-Level permissions

Once the permission is turned ON we will get the below screen

Step 2: Go to the top page and add the users who has to be given with restricted access.

Step 3: Add the user as Viewer in case if view access is needed.

Step 4: Go to the page where special permissions need to be added for the user's.

For example BRM Dashboard

Step 5: Click on Change button

Step 6: Please make sure custom permissions options is selected

Step 7: Click save. Finally, we can see the users on the specific page and the one in red is an user that doesn't have access to the page and the one in blue is user who can the page. If we want an user not to have access to the page then just click on the 'x' icon and the user will not be highlighted anymore.

To add the user, click on the drop down and select 'can view'
