Introduction

Client needs SAP GUI client installed on their computer.

Installation Steps

All employees can install SAP GUI from Software Center. If SAP is not available under any of the tabs, it means it has already been installed.

To install SAP: 

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Microsoft System Center > Configuration Manager > Software Center
       
     
  2. From the list of available software select SAP GUI and click on Install to start the installation. The installation should be available either under Available Software or Installation Status tabs.

     
  3. Click on the Installation Status tab. You will be able to monitor the installation status from here.
     
  4. The installation will be silent and no interaction will be needed from you. 
     
  5. On completion your computer will need to be restarted.

     
  6. After the installation is complete and you have rebooted there should now be SAP Logon icon on your desktop. Double-click on it to open SAP. It should look like this:
