The Pricing Data Lake (like the entire Solvay Data Ocean) works with 4 environments: DEV, TEST, PRE PROD, and PROD.
An overview of the activities taking place in each environment is provided below.
The DEV environment of the data lake should take its data from the corresponding DEV environment of the source system. It should have the right structures and code, but will not have reliable quality data. All other environments should be connected to the PROD environment of the source and should have production-quality data. All BA and UAT activities take place in the TEST environment.
