Making Selections
Unlike QlikView (if you are already one of the user), there is a slight different when making selections in Qlik Sense versus QlikView. You will have to click on the "Selections" button on the top right corner (boxed in red).
When "Selections" Button Is Click
You will see a grey background with "No selections applied" on the upper part of the page and lower page, you will see some boxes containing all the various dimensions. From those boxes, choose the dimensions you want and if you don't find the one you need, you may either click on "Show fields" located next to App dimensions or you may use the "Search dimensions" located on the right.
From the Dimension box, click on the dimension you want, follow by clicking on 
to confirm your selection or 
to change/modify what is selected earlier. There are more options on selections. If you click on the 
you can have more actions on the selection made. For example, to exclude the selected dimension from the result. From the below image, "China" in the Cust Country being selected (highlighted in green), to confirm the selection, will be clicked.
The "confirmed" selection will then appear above the "App Dimension" section as shown in below.
