This article is basically for how to create a new user in WAP system.

For any WAP request we get a Freshdesk ticket which is like below:

Note: For all WAP user creation and Modification we would be needing the Form and approvals. The Form should be filled by the user and the approvals are to be brought by L0 team.

The Form would be something like this for a new user creation:

In this Form we will find the details of the user and the reference user or Tcodes for which the user needs access to.

Approvals:

Before proceeding for these request we would need approvals and those are managed by L0 Team. And when we get the approvals as like below we can proceed for creation of the user.

Providing Access:

• First we check if the user is already existing in the WAP system or not.
• If user exists in WAP system, compare the roles of the user and reference user. If any missing to the user, add those roles through IDM.
  (find the roles in SU01D→Roles tab)

Note: For WAP system the access is given through IDM.

• If the user does not exist, the reference users roles are to be added to the user.
• For new user creation, Open IDM portal → Go to Identity Management tab → Enter the New user ID who is to be created → Add the roles and Save.

• Once the roles are replicated into the WAP system reset the password and inform the user in the Freshdesk ticket. And the ticket can be resolved.
