 Key Requirements for polymer coating for magnet wires in e-motors (customer specific):

  1. Extrusion on round or shaped profiles with good concentricity and thickness control 
  2. Excellent dielectric strength at temperature
  3. Thermal endurance up to 240°C
  4. Chemical resistance to coolants, solvents, and varnishes
  5. Extreme abrasion resistance during insertion, bending and wrapping for coil windings 
  6. Favorable adhesion to metals
