Due to the integration of Mobile Working, there is no longer for 1 workstation by person

This invites us to reflect on an ambitious ratio, impacted by :

  • usual presence rate on site, 
  • adoption of Mobile working policy and the number of home working days / week
  • nature of the jobs (possibility to do it remotely)
  • cultural sensitivity and practices

There is no “one size fits all” approach, the ratio has to be defined for each project. 
This ratio applies on ergonomics workstations : combined offer of seats (ergonomics or not , from working areas + common areas + meeting rooms) is always above the HC.

Example of Brussels Campus site for administrative activities :

  • pre Covid : a ratio of 0,7 applied
  • with structural Mobile Working : 0,6 will apply
