When to use MFT

MFT should be used when the exchange of data needs to be done internally with in Solvay network OR when data crosses the Solvay Firewall. 

Therefore, when

  • When outbound data is being sent to a partner/customer/entity/internal application which
resides 
  • resides inside or outside of the Solvay network, then
webMethods
  • Managed Transfer Transfer (MFT) should be used.
  And if
  • When inbound data is being received from a partner/customer/entity/internal application which
resides 
  • resides inside or outside of the Solvay network, then
webMethods
  • Managed Transfer Transfer (MFT) should be used.
