As a Manager, you support individuals and teams in performance improvement via challenging, supportive, truthful, regular exchanges; you have a good understanding of the skills and competencies across the team and leverage those in order to boost team performance. At a high level, you are responsible for three practices that matter : Check-Ins, Snapshots, and Meaningful Conversations. Woven together into your schedule, they will unlock great conversations that help you and others to sustained high performancesupporting your team members by helping them connect their work with the business strategy (setting objectives), engaging in regular meaningful conversations (check-ins and snapshots), encouraging them to own their development (development discussions), supporting them in challenging moments (engagement discussions) and assessing their performance based on what they achieve and how they deliver (year-end performance assessment and calibration).
