Solvay's Performance Culture is shaped by how we blend our knowledge and behaviours effectively to enhance our purpose and profit. We leverage effective behaviors that are further developed via meaningful discussions and development actions.

Solvay’s Syensqo's Performance Culture is based on the principle of continuous, open dialogue between managers and employees, and honest and transparent feedback.    The continuous nature of the performance cycle encourages focus, agility, and flexibility to better meet changing business needs. 

As part of Performance Culture, Leaders manage, coach, and challenge team members on goals, behaviors, and developmentEmployees and managers use the Performance tool inMy HR Services to capture goals, summarize check-in conversations, and record snapshots.

MANAGER?

As a Manager, you support individuals and teams in performance improvement via challenging, supportive, truthful, regular exchanges; you have a good understanding of the skills and competencies across the team and leverage those in order to boost team performance.  
At a high level, you are responsible for three practices that matter : Check-Ins, Snapshots, and Meaningful Conversations.  Woven together into your schedule, they will unlock great conversations that help you and others to sustained high performancesupporting your team members by helping them connect their work with the business strategy (setting objectives), engaging in regular meaningful conversations (check-ins and snapshots), encouraging them to own their development (development discussions), supporting them in challenging moments (engagement discussions) and assessing their performance based on what they achieve and how they deliver (year-end performance assessment and calibration).
