The PCF Validated Dashboard is an advanced internal tool designed to provide Syensqo teams with validated, plant-level Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data for finished products. The dashboard supports sustainability reporting, product benchmarking, and data-driven decision-making by offering granular, up-to-date, and traceable carbon footprint metrics. It covers the entire GBU portfolio and is structured to ensure transparency, reliability, and ease of use.


 


What is inside this dashboard :

  • Validated Product List

    • Presents the portfolio of finished products with their net CO₂ footprint.
    • Includes PCF excluding biogenic CO₂ removal, validated biogenic CO₂ removal, and net PCF (including biogenic CO₂ removal).
  • Biogenic Validated Product List

    • Focuses on products containing biobased carbon.
    • Displays validated biogenic CO₂ removal, biogenic carbon content, total carbon content, and renewable carbon index (RCI).
  • Breakdown

    • Offers a detailed breakdown of the finished product footprint by scope (raw materials, energy, waste, transport).
    • Shows the contribution and emission factors for each raw material and process step.
  • Contribution Changes

    • Enables year-over-year comparison of PCF contributions for finished products.
    • Highlights key emission drivers and visualizes increases or decreases in contributions by sub-scope (e.g., raw materials, transport, waste).
  • Product Carbon Footprints for the Novecare product portfolio
  • Biogenic carbon content and Renewable carbon index
  • The values presented here are validated by PCF process owner
  • Granulometry is at material code per plant and per year (meaning 1 commercial product has possibly several carbon footprints)
  • Data source verification and feeding is performed plant per plant and validation is progressive

    • The dashboard displays only data that has been validated by the PCF Process Owner, ensuring high reliability and traceability.
  • Dedicated Validation Process:
    • All PCF values are subject to a robust validation process, including source verification and approval by the PCF Process Owner.
  • Progressive Validation:
    • Only validated data is visible to users, and the validation status is clearly indicated for each entry.
  • Traceability:
    • Each PCF value is linked to its plant, year, and material code, allowing for full traceability and auditability.
