- Only BD&A team can install packages and create environments:
- because some packages have dependencies and require INFRA admin installing extra system files/software
- To avoid conflict/duplucations: the server is shared by all users
- To conduct tests before impacting the server that everyone uses
- A specific code environment will be created and accessible in Code Recipe and Notebook
- For some R packages, an intervention of the INFRA team is necessary, which lengthens the processing time of the request
