In PF1, there are 2 types of profit centers:
- Reporting Profit Centers are the basis for Group reporting : All elements for P/L statement are extracted from the Profit Centers (except CO-Profitability Analysis -> CO-PA). To make this extraction work (through interfaces), all objects in CO must be assigned to a profit center;
The Reporting Profit centers depend on the Profit centers group “CHEFCHEOPS”. These profit centers are generally assigned to all the ERP companies;
- Organizational profit centers for common CO, PM, PS Objects, e.g. Orders, WBS Elements
In WP1, there is only one type of profit center
