Use the Account owner report that you can find at the side bar of your home page to search for the current account owner of your accounts. Then, send the person an email to transfer your accounts to you. If you own accounts in Salesforce.com that are not yours and you know who is the right account owner or you are asked to transfer the ownership: Go to the account and follow the instructions in this link .
You have to create a draft account in salesforce and send it to the sales and marketing team.
First, confirm if the account you want to create doesn't exist in SFDC through the search functionality.
