1/ Definition
Total number of work orders not still finished classed by status.
2/ Objective / Target
The main objective of a SolWOM transformation is to improve the efficiency of maintenance process. The portfolio of work orders will allow us to know if we have increased our efficiency.
The evolution of this indicator is related directly to the workforce in the site and to their efficiency. The value of the indicator is not as important as its evolution.
For example if we have done a SolWOM transformation, efficiency is supposed to be improved. If we decide to reduce the workforce and the portfolio does not increase it means our efficiency has actually improved.
There is not a unique target for this indicator. The value for indicator (number of work orders) may be different depending on the plants. We are interested in the evolution of this indicator, because of that, is absolutely necessary to save data for each week.
3/ Formula
Number of work orders by status : ∑ work orders not still completed* by status
* completed work orders (two possibilities: 1 system status = TECO or CLSD; 2 user status = completed, for example GS50 in Dombasle or 6TT in Tavaux).
4/ Frequency
Weekly
5/ SAP extraction and detailed calculation
The list of all work orders which are not still finished should be extracted from SAP, all user status and work order status included.
We exclude completed work orders (two possibilities: 1 system status = TECO or CLSD; 2 user status = completed, for example GS50 in Dombasle or 6TT in Tavaux).
