Convergence can help you manage your Requests For Information. A dedicated RFI form is available : suppliers can fill in this form directly in the platform once they receive their notification email. No more Excel files to send.
For specific request, a dedicated form was created : the Specific RFI. In this form, you can add Excel templates and make it available for your supplier. Each purchasing segment has generally its own template.
All those RFIs and Specifc RFIs are now in one place, directly linked to the right supplier.

What you need to know to start...
RFIs are web forms : you and your suppliers will fill in them directly in Convergence. No need to "send" something.
A Specific RFIs are more a kind of containers in which you attach templates containing files (generally Excel files). A supplier will use such a container to download empty template files and upload them back once he filled in what was requested.
Last but not least, a bunch of reports can help you manage those documents.
