To search on the whole dashboard, you usually have a "Search" text bar :
You can type the searched value and a list of different categories containing the name appears and you
can choose which dimension you want from the list.
Note that * is used in the search to replace any number of characters. Ex : *doc* will return all data with doc in it. *doc will return any data that ends with doc.
Search in list
For some large lists, it's possible to search directly in the lists. Just click on the list, then start typing
In some list boxes you may also have a search icon :
Printing and Exporting
Via the chart caption bar icons
Chart Toolbar
The print, export, search... options in the chart toolbar are not always active. That depends on the design of the dashboard.
To print, click
To export data to excel , click
To maximize, double-click on minimized icon to launch
To minimize, double-click
Via right click on the chart
To export as image, right-click on the chart / object and select “Copy to Clipboard > Image”
To export the data into excel, right click on the chart / object and select "Export to Excel"

Note that if you export to Excel a chart, it will export the underlying data into an excel table. Not as an excel chart.
Navigation
Drill-down & Cycle Buttons
If available, click on the cycle icon to display other dimensions, or drill-down button to the next variable in the chart.
Change columns order
In most tables (straight or pivot) you can change the order of the columns
Click and drag: Blue arrow appears
Place the pointer where you want and release the click
The columns are switched
Chart-switch (Fast Change)
If available, you will be able to see the “Fast Change” icon, located at right top corner of the chart. Click the icon to switch between charts.
Bookmark
Add a bookmark
To save your selections for recurrence use, click “Bookmarks > Add Bookmark” from the tool bar.
Save it under your desire name.
Delete a bookmark
To delete a bookmark, first, you will have to select a bookmark, then, “Remove Bookmark”
