After an Excel crash, the Analysis menu is no longer visible.

Problem: After a Microsoft Excel crash, you reopened Analysis but the Analysis bar is no longer visible in the menu.

Solution: To solve this you need to re-active the Analysis plug-in which has been deactivated by Excel.

  1. Press the Microsoft Office Button in Microsoft Office 2007.
  2. Choose File in Microsoft Office 2010.
  3. In Microsoft Excel, press Excel Options.

  1. In the "Excel Options" dialog box and in the "PowerPoint Options" dialog box in the categories pane, select Add-Ins.
  2. In the Manage box, select Disabled Items.
  3. Press Go.
  4. In the "Disabled Items" dialog box, select the Analysis Add-In.

  1. Press Enable.

  1. In the Manage box, select COM Add-Ins.
  2. Press Go.
