Business Objects is in the process of being upgraded to a newer version (From version "XI" to "BI4"). The upgrade will be done application by application. Until the upgrade is fully completed this wiki will host information for both versions.

BO Introduction

Business objects are consolidated reports compiled by backend engines which are able to publish trends and results for user's quick analysis.

Getting a BO account

To request an account creation, modification of deletion on Business Objects, you need to fill the online form :

When completed, you will receive a copy of the request.

Note that the modifications are subject to approval by the Authorisation Contact. IS will request validation depending on the parameters and applications requested.

Getting Started

BO is used via a web navigator like Internet Explorer. Everything is done via the "InfoView" page, the main BO page.

If it is your first usage of BO we advice that you change your account preferences once (see the preferences recommended values).

To start using BO, you can check the BO Basic User Guide to learn how to use it.

Getting Support and Trainings

Support and training for Business Objects can be requested the same way as any other IS tool.

BO Data Updating

PPS :Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Data are available at * round 2:30 AM Paris Time.

PPE :Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday , Friday & Saturday. Data are generally available at * round 3:00 AM Paris Time.
It can be longer the last day of each month , spacially in upper month of the year , as we receive all the data since the begining of the year.

SAFIR :* Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Data are available at * round 3:15 AM Paris Time.*

ICARE :* Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday v Friday. Data are available at * round 2:15 AM Paris Time.*
