Problem

Solution

1.1 Go to Smartsheet web interface https://app.smartsheet.com/b/home

 1.2 Login with the Admin user

 1.3 Go to Account > User Management

 

1.4 Search the user record

 

1.5 Check the user status.

 If the status of the user, doesn’t match with the request received by mail, update the user record.

 Possible scenarios:

A. User is not in the list. Add the user and assign the Smartsheet license requested. Once it’s done, send the confirmation message. (Template License Assigned)

B. User is in the list but the license doesn't match with the info requested. Edit the record, and modify the license. Once it’s done, send the confirmation message. (Template License Assigned)

C. User is in the list and match with the user request. Nothing to do.

Template license downgrade

Subject:  Your Smartsheet license has been downgraded

Hello,

We want to inform you that your Smartsheet license has been downgraded from creator license to collaborator license, due to the fact you have not logged in to the application in the last 3 months.

No data is lost. All the work done by you and your collaborators in Smartsheet will remain untouched. You can continue accessing to your Smartsheet projects and edit them, but you cannot create ones.
