This article explains how to create a 100% stacked column chart, which is a standard chart type in Data Studio.

In our case we want to plot on the x-axis the inspections types and on the y-axis a stacked column chart resuming how many anomalies were found per each type.

Step-by-step guide

  • Create a stacked column bar chart

  • Select the desired x and y axis dimensions and color the bars by the Anomalia column (the dimension you wish to stack)

  • In order to have a stacked 100% chart change the aggegation type to count and set the trend and comparison field to % of your x -axis

  • In order to display the values inside the bar, right-click on the chart area and select Plot properties. Go to the Options tab and check the Show values option
