The Pricing dashboard is accessible through the Qliksense hub. Access to the dashboard and visibility rights are managed by the Visibility Squad.

As part of the Customer Engagement Model (CEM) strategic program, Solvay is improving business performance management and creating for that purpose a set of new dashboards showing critical business information (eg: Pricing Transparency or Customer360 ).

SEE INFORMATION HERE:

TO BE COPY PASTE IN GSLIDES:

To simplify the delivery of visibility on a need-to-know basis (*) on the different data and especially on the critical ones appearing in the context of the CEM program dashboards, the following solution has been implemented:

  • Need-to-know access to data in the dashboards will be automatically configured based on the user data profile in CRM (Core or iCare).
  • Avoiding the need to manually recreate or maintain accesses in different systems for the dashboards in scope, doing the job once in CRM will be enough

(*) Visibility matrix defines per GBU the need-to-know visibility rules (a requirement for the group)

The Dashboard uses a unified (template-based & centralized) user profile-based data access entry point to prevent potential breaches of confidentiality, based on :

  1. Users’ access to Sales, Mkg, and Customer Service dashboards (Pricing and later Customer360,...) linked to their profile in SalesForce (SF) CORE/iCARe CRM.
  2. Visibility matrix that will set for each role the perimeter of data accessible

If you belong to Specialty Polymers (SP), Composites Materials (CM), Technology Solutions (TS) or Novecare (CS) GBU, your access is granted automatically after your Salesforce profile has been created.

If data such as Region, Group of Activity or Market Cluster are not correct, you should contact your Data Steward who can update your SF profile.

If you need access to another GBU (by exception), then please follow the standard process described below.

If you belong to another GBU, Corporate services or EKAM/GSKA Team with the need for a transversal access (cross-GBU) to a specific customer (Corporate group), In this case, please request an access through the standard process.

Check How to request access to Dashboard in QlikView, QlikSense or Tableau? for a step-by-step access request instructions via Service One Digital.

New process to maintain consistent need-to-know access as per CRM user data

Prerequisite : Identify/check for each user in CRM Core / iCare :

  • The Data Access Profile  :
  •  for Core users only :
  1. the GBU(s),
  2. Group(s) of Activity
  3. Region(s)

So before requesting the creation of a user or updating their access, ensure the user or the manager has already provided all of the above information, cross-check with the Visibility matrix rules.

Fill in a Core/iCare access request

All SF access creation requests are now managed in Service One.

Accesses via CORE CRM: if there are no attributes in the profile, the colleague won't be included in any user group and there will be no automatic user creation.

/!\ Please don’t forget to mention the Data Access Profile, GBU, Group of Activity, and Region in the Comment area to ensure the user profile has all data; otherwise, it will need to be updated later.

Core: Update the user profile in Salesforce

  1. Data Domain visibility is managed at the user level with the field “Data Access Profile”

So we check and update if necessary the Data Access Profile value

Tips :

  • The value is prefixed with the GBU code to make the selection easier

If I have any doubt, I can check again the right value in the Profile access matrix

2) Now we want to set the GBU, Group(s) of activity and Regions that are in line with the Data Access Profile

As CRM Champions or Data Stewards, we can do this by managing the Public Groups assignment

Tips :

  • List of Public groups on this document.
  • Users can be assigned to multiple public groups if they need multiple access

How to add users to public groups ?

  • Go to setup.
  • Search for Public Group
  • Search for the public group you want to assign
  • Open it and click on Edit
  • Select “Users” if you want to assign a user
  • Click on Save

Follow-up with the QlikSense app
