Problem

The mirror is activated for the shipping plant / receiving plant / material combination. However, it does not generate any PReq.

Solution

  • Verify the material configuration (activate the Mirror). Make sure that the various MRP fields are updated in the right plants.
  • If that does not fix the problem, create a PReq with ME51. If you cannot, this might explain. And the error message you will receive along the way is your diagnosis.
  • If you can create a PReq with ME51, but the Mirror does not create any, run transaction ZDP_1C_PUSH (you may have to ask security to run it). 
    • in the selection screen (right-hand pannel), enter
      • material, shipping plant, receiving plant
      • Test mode activated
      • with filter (without safety stock)

      • page down to find the  P_DEBUG flag, and activate it.

      • all other fields can remain as is
      • hit: . The program will (should) fail at creating a PReq, since this is why you are reading this documentation. It will tell you why.
