Upon reception of the monthly notification, you want to:
- validate the schedule snapshot (the current month schedule)
- review and comment the adherence performances of last month (last month schedule vs last month actual)
Step-by-step guide
- Validate the schedule snapshot (this month's schedule snapshot, in order to prepare for the next Adherence cycle)
- open the SpP PA Sch Data Keep file.
open the MYYYYMM sheet. YYYYMM is the current month. E.g. if today is April 03 2023, you want to work on M202304.
Use a filter view to help. Many have been already created. Feel free to use them or create yours.
Here, in this example:
February 2024 production schedule is highlighted.
The schedule of February has been downloaded from Picaso into that spreadsheet on February the 1st.
Review/validate these numbers, and make necessary adjustments. When should you adjust these numbers?
if you made schedule changes on the first days of the month, that you think should have been accounted for in the monthly snapshot
- if for any reason, you could not update the schedule prior to the snapshot (prior to April 1st) and you think they should be accounted for in the snapshot.
Once you are done, open the "Schedule Validation Punch Card" sheet.
let me know that you are done and that the numbers are validated:
if you think there is something wrong with the extraction and want to let me know, check the other box:
- Review and comment the adherence performances of last month
- open the SpP PA - Heat Map file.
You will be reviewing last month's performances. E.g. if today is April 03 2023, you will be reviewing the performances of March 2023
Open the your sheet (=your plant). It shows this:
Open the "Monthly" section
Summary per product line on top
Details per product on the bottom.
- validate actual production (all in MT on that sheet)
- update comments as follows
where Adherence is green or blue: no comment necessary. Adherence is within range of, or higher than, the target. Just enter "OK" to confirm that you have reviewed the performances.
- where Adherence is orange or red: adherence is lower than target. Provide with a high level, one or two liner that recaps what happened
- use a category that best represents the type of root cause. You may pick up to three.
