Upon reception of the monthly notification, you want to:

  1. validate the schedule snapshot (the current month schedule)
  2. review and comment the adherence performances of last month (last month schedule vs last month actual)

Step-by-step guide

  1. Validate the schedule snapshot (this month's schedule snapshot, in order to prepare for the next Adherence cycle)
    1. open the MatSeg PA - Data file.
    2. open the Sch RoW YYYYMM sheet. YYYYMM is the current month. E.g. if today is April 03 2023, you want to work on Sch RoW 202304.

    3. Use a filter view to help. Many have been already created. Feel free to use them or create yours.

    4. Here, in this example, we use a filter view named 'Borger'.

      1. April production schedule is highlighted.

      2. The schedule of April has been downloaded from Picaso into that spreadsheet on April the 1st.

    5. Review/validate these numbers, and make necessary adjustments. When should you adjust these numbers?

      1. if you made schedule changes on the first days of the month, that you think should have been accounted for in the monthly snapshot

      2. if for any reason, you could not update the schedule prior to the snapshot (prior to April 1st) and you think they should be accounted for in the snapshot.
  2. Review and comment the adherence performances of last month
    1. open the MatSeg Monthly SchedAdh 2022-2023 file.
    2. You will be reviewing last month's performances. E.g. if today is April 03 2023, you will be reviewing the performances of March 2023

    3. open the "New Version - HeatMap" sheet.

    4. update as follows
      1. where Adherence is green or blue: no comment necessary. Adherence is within range of, or higher than, the target.

      2. where Adherence is orange or red: adherence is lower than target. Provide with a high level, one or two liner that recaps what happened
      3. use a category that best represents the type of root cause. You may pick up to three.
      4. see example below

    5. if you want a drill down, open the "New Version - Chart" sheet

      1. find the hereafter tiles and pick your plant

      2. Use the drop-down menu and pick your plant

      3. give it a few seconds before you pick your product group.

      4. Once it shows a red triangle...

      5. ...pick the product group you want to take a deeper look at

      6. the chart and the table underneath now show data related to the plant and the product group you picked

      7. scroll to the right to find the details at product level (here, for March 2023).

      8. use the drop-down menu right above the detailed list if you wish to analyze a previous month,
