Usually the name & description of a cost center is free but in some cases there can be special needs listed below

Description :

CH - Function desc - DE

  • CH: Identifies the GBU Special Chem
  • Function desc: Identifies the type of Function of the cost center
  • DE: Identifies the Country

As an example, the Supply Chain cost center in Solvay Fluorides could be:

  • CH - Supply Chain - US

In the case this should case two cost centers to have the same name, just modify slightly the "Function desc" part. Example:

  • CH - Supply Chain Houston - US
  • CH - Supply Chain Cincinnati - US

Name : idem but without the country at the end and an astute shortening of the text to fit within the 20-char SAP limit.
