The Polymer Characterization Lab (PCL) team in Shanghai Technology Center (STP) has a key role collaborating with R&I product development (engineered materials), ADL (application development lab), commercial functions, procurement and manufacturing for the characterization and testing of all the GBU materials.

Who We Are

Shanghai PCL was part of China Engineered Materials previously, and just joined Global Core Labs team reporting to Silvia Petricci (Bollate Analytical and Materials Characterization department manager) since March 2023.

Besides international ASTM/ISO/GB references, proprietary methods are developed and applies for structural characterization and testing of the whole GBU product portfolio. Standard and complex analysis are provided with a multi-techniques approach aimed to support research development, investigate material compositions and understand the performance  of materials in their final applications.

Lastly, the state-to-art techniques and methods are keeping explored and updated to make us stay competitive.
