1. Objective and Scope

1.1. Objective of this Operation

This procedure is used to resolve the error "RM175; Existing standard cost estimate cannot be used".

1.2. Scope

This procedure is applied to all companies WW in PF2.


2. Task description

Once in awhile, we get the following request from controllers:

2.1. Check MB51 

Check if there were any stock entries posted during the current month, or even in previous months.
     If yes, then for sure something had to be changed locally in the meantime. We need to follow the next points.
     If no, you should try to do the validations below, but it may be the case that IS must support.

2.2. Check which PV / Production order are they trying to use  

       
    > Checking C223 is the PV green? If no, then inform them to check that and try to proceed with MFBF. And stop here.

                                                           If yes, check if there were any changes on the BOM+Routing of the material (one way, its using CK13N, to see the BOM + routing).

2.3. Check if there were changes at BOM or Routing of the material


>Then you can validate if it is possible to delete the existing cost estimate and run a new one (following the rules, such as stock/ movements and Z1K_MLSTATUS), then you can ask them to try to declare production.
> If it is not possible to delete the existing SCE, check the REM profile of the material (MRP4), if it says something like "Prel. Cost" and NOT StsCost, you can recalculate the Preliminary cost estimate( the one of cost collector) => KKF6N.
Then, then inform the site to proceed with MFBF. And stop here.


>  If the REM profile does not mentioned "Prel. Cost", the solution would be to ask local team to get the REM profile change from back from XXXX to ZZ02 only until the end of the current month (D-1). 
They should be able to use the material, once the REM profile is ZZ02.

The main constraint of this solution is that we will need to assure that the REM is set back at the end of the month, and we need to allocate the production activities manually to the production order.
