Data Import


Static data :

All the master data (material, ship-to, hierarchies: customer axis, product axis, etc..) are imported from SAP (or from GBR) through BW interface.

For Master Data, a change is available in Dynasys at Day+2.


Dynamic data :

Dynamic data corresponds to the flows (historical and actual data : shipped history, invoiced history, demand history, open order data...through BW interface

(data providing by Global Sales multi-provider)

For Dynamic data, import is at D+1 (around 10-11 am - CET)

Hierarchy


  • New Master Data table creation should be validated by Application Lead

Cross Hierarchies

Best practice :

  • Avoid to create new Cross Hierarchies > Limit Cross Hierarchy to 4 levels (Performance Issue)


Master Table Updates

Required Master Table updates should be integrated in the "Master Table Updates"


A new folder with the corresponding dimensions should be created.

For the forcing, at least 3 data have to be created 

  • Data from Hierarchy (Fed by Master data)
  • Data override
  • Data

To force the value, a Rule Base is available (to enable to have the value by default in the final data) :
