BW OTC - Supply Chain- DPS (WBP)
a. Flat file interface design
In the graph below is highlighted the main steps of the data flow going through BW.
1. Data acquisition from the 2 ECC systems and from the GBR for some sales master data, is done mainly through Core BW structures, which are shared widely with other applications: sales orders, deliveries, material master, customer master,...
2. The data extracted for the DynaSys interface is then loaded in a 1st level of DSOs, filtered by functional rules: only sales order types reliable for forecasting, horizon limitation to last 3 years, orders not rejected,...
3. Then the data is filtered through a 2nd level of DSOs depending on the perimeter definition: BUs, plants,...
4.Finally, the flat files are created using the APD function of BW.

Files sent to DynaSys datahub are archived in SAP WBP. We can see them in AL11 transaction, folder /exploit/BW/archive/DYNASYS/.
b. Detailed BW flow
In the document below is detailed the BW flow:
- tab Dataflow: are indicated all the BW data structures (DSOs, cubes, Master Data) of the flow from the flat files back to the data source of BW.
- tab Filter: all filters between each data structure are defined in details.
- tab Variables: some filters use some variables so that they can easily be reused for several filters. Content of these variables is maintained in characteristic C_GLBFILT.
