#To Erase - Archives

Try to check/free space at least once every month before we get the alert emails.

If there is no more space in a backserver server, we will receive this kind of alert email

The best place to release disk space is the folder D:\DynaSys\ITF\Files\In\Archives

Actually, 4 or 5 archives are generated every day

Those archives are not deleted automatically, it's up to DSCP Interface Team.

  • As a general rule, We try to keep 2 months worth of archive.

#To Erase - DMP files

DMP files with huge sizes are created after each crashdump.

The idea is to remove those files if there are not needed anymore for further analysis.


Select this folder D:\DynaSys\<App>\Logs

Right click, sort by → Size →  Descending

2Remove the DMP files

Right click, sort by → Data modified →  Ascending

Try to keep at least 3~4 months of the logs in order to do further analyze if needed or to do performance check if needed.

To erase files:

To Empty Recycle Bin if needed.

  • the best way to do this action is to sort Logs of each application by descending Size 
    then remove .dmp files if they are older than today
