In that case, the Production plant is available in the Material import file (BW_Material) as "ProdPlant_IndustrialOrigin"

The information is extracted from SAP in the Material Master (MM03)

• in WP1 :

In the Material / Classification data as Main production plant

• in PF1 :

In the Material data in the Sales : sales org. 2 view as Industrial origin :

• Main Production Site determined through the SPK (Special Procurement Key).

In that case, the Production plant is available in the SKU import file (BW_SKU) as "Production Plant".

In the file, the Material x Main Shipping site as Plant code is used to determine the corresponding Production Plant

The SPK is used to determine the main source for each Material x Plant. It is maintained in the MRP2 view of the Material x Plant.

The Production plant is retrieved going through the last SPK starting with the Main Shipping Site.

For example the Material 109192 at plant 8227 is replenished from the plant 0294

Then the Material 109192 at plant 0294 is replenished from the plant 0263

Then the Material 109192 is produced at the plant :

There is no Master data in SAP to maintain the Main Shipping Site.

Based on the Actuals sales and Open Order book, we import a proposal of Main Shipping Site.
