  1. Connection to the appropriate server :

> User / pwd : dynasys_svc / Solvay2015

> Open a remote connection and log on to

- WDCDYAD21 to restart a DEV or TEST service

- WDCDYWD21 to restart a SANDBox service


2. Open the Services panel (shorcut available in the bottom bar)


3. Dscp services are available in the list


4. The two columns Status and Startup Type provide relevant information about each service.

Here are the possible values :

> Startup Type : Automatic, Manual, Disabled

> Status : Running, Stopped, Empty (when disabled)


5. To activate a disabled service :

> right-click the service and select Properties

> change the Startup type to Automatic

> Click on Apply (Start button is activated)

> Click on Start 

> The service is starting (this could take a few minutes depending on the DSCP instance)

> This prompt message may appear but it's not blocking at all

> right-click the service and select Refresh to update the status (should be Running in the end)


6. To activate a manual service :

> Same procedure as below


7. An Automatic service is supposed to restart itself after a crash.

Just right-click the service and select Start to relaunch it.
