Depending on what they want to analyse, users need to view specific attributes in the table, in a specific order. This allow them to focus on the specific data they need to work with on the moment.
As they are working with research data, the attributes they want to view may vary a lot on a day-to-day basis.

Use-case

Use-case n°1:

  • Given the user can choose the order of the table's attributes,
  • When the user drags and drops an attribute within the list of attribute in a dedicated table configuration section,

  • Then the table immediately updates:

    • the order of the table's columns is updated accordingly to the order of the list of attributes

Use-case n°2:

  • Given the user cannot choose the order of the table's attributes directly on the table,
  • When the user drags and drops an attribute,

  • Then he cannot move a column

Future Improvements

  • Attributes sorted by categories within the attribute list
  • Sort columns directly on the table
