How to delete multiple segments ?
With the latest release of the Transactional Pricing Tool, the Segment Generation workflow has been updated to improve usability.
One of the changes that you may have experienced yourself is that on the Segment Generation workflow, when you select a Segment, you no longer have to deselect the previously selected Segments to view it. While this improves the viewing experience, this implies that you can no longer delete multiple Segments at one time. However, there is still a way to delete multiple Segments via the Excel download.
- Download all Segments (See picture 1)
- In the Delete column, type “true” on the rows for the Segments you want to delete (See picture 2)
- Upload the Excel (See picture 1)

How to assign a segment product manager access points ?
How to assign a segment product manager in bulk ?
Go to the Segment Generation workflow and use the Export and Import feature to modify multiple Segments at one time.
Notes:
- Any time a Product Manager is set for a Segment, all DataPoints in that Segment will be assigned to that Product Manager if they have not been assigned.
- When using the Export and Import feature to assign Product Managers, an exact match is required to the valid values listed in the Picklist.
