The below statement details how our dashboard refresh takes place each day.
Our qlikview applicatios are split in 3 layers;
1) query loading (bw..)
2) consolidator layer => data model, aggregate all the results of the step 1)
3) dashboard visuals => load data model from step 2
The 3 steps can be launched independently
The reload time displayed under the dashboard on the accespoint corresponds to the reload of Step 3 ONLY
(ex if we just change a visual without reloading and republish it will change the time on the accesspoint)
The dashboards queries are reloaded during the night from 1 to 9 AM french time.
The dashboard consolidator and dashboard are published when all the concerned queries (for the dasbhoard) are reloaded
For Analytics we have added a second reload of the dashboard only because dynasys query took too much time and we could not delay the CRM analytics publish.
So Analytics is published a second time around 12 when the dynasys forecast query is reloaded
